Entity Level Provider Directory (ELPD)

The table below indicates the name of the entity organization and the two identifiers assigned to them for transaction and document routing via the OneHealthPort HIE.

The OHP HIE encourages use of the OHP Organization Identifier (OrgID) for messages routed between trading partners who are both using the OHP HIE. The Object Identifier (OID) is the universal identifier format used for xds protocols (Document Submission) for messages using the NwHIN (Nation Wide Health Information Exchange) messaging hub with any Federal agency. Some systems have character limits on the field length for sender and recipient fields which may not accept the OID.

The OHP HIE accepts valid OHP OrgIDs during registration of a newly contracted entity organization. OHP HIE enumerates and assigns each contracted entity a unique Object Identifier (OID) allowing routing of messages inside and outside of the HIE using a universal entity identifier. OHP HIE accepts either the OHP OrgID or the entity OID for routing and entity identification purposes.
