Office Ally FAQ
What is Office Ally?
Office Ally is a clearinghouse that offers free medical and
dental electronic claims routing and tracking to health care
providers. It accepts and processes electronic claims then
distributes them to over 500 participating health plans.
How can Office Ally be free?
Insurance companies reimburse Office Ally for receiving claims
electronically, which saves them money. Unlike most other
clearinghouses, Office Ally elects not to charge providers.
How can Office Ally help my practice save time and
money?
Electronic claims have a lower rejection rate, are processed
faster and, therefore, expedite payment. It is easier and
faster to submit claims online than to fill out paper forms,
which streamlines office workflow and dramatically increases
administrative efficiency. Online claims also provide better
tracking because all claims submitted to Office Ally are in
one convenient location.
What types of claims does Office Ally accept?
Office Ally accepts claims from all practice management software
packages or the direct entry of claims through the Office
Ally browser tool.
Why did Office Ally Partner with OneHealthPort?
OneHealthPort has pulled together multiple payers who will
pay for the electronic claims gathered by the Office Ally
service. OneHealthPort works with payers to coordinate a marketing
campaign to providers who need a solution to reduce paper
claims. OneHealthPort's secure single password makes it easy
for providers and their staff to access Office Ally and other
community sites.
Why should I register through OneHealthPort instead
of going directly through Office Ally?
Going through OneHealthPort lets you register and then access
Office Ally using your secure OneHealthPort passport. You
only need to log-on once to access Office Ally as well as
the web sites of participating health plans.
What is the process for registering for Office Ally
through OneHealthPort?
OneHealthPort subscribers can register for Office Ally by

How long does it take to start submitting claims
to Office Ally?
After receiving your enrollment form, usually within three
business days, a Technical Support Specialist will contact
you to schedule an appointment for setup and training. There
is no charge for either setup or training. In most cases,
a provider office can begin submitting claims through the
browser tool in less than a week.
