OneHealthPort Partners with Office Ally to Offer
Online claims submission

SEATTLE, WA -- October 19, 2004 -- Office Ally, which offers free medical and dental electronic claims routing to health care providers, is now available through OneHealthPort, a secure online portal that supports the exchange of business and clinical information within the health care community.

Office Ally accepts and processes electronic claims from billing companies, clearinghouses and providers and then distributes them to the appropriate participating health plans. OneHealthPort subscribers can register for and send electronic claims through Office Ally.

“We are pleased to partner with Office Ally and offer our subscribers another valuable opportunity to use their OneHealthPort single sign-on credential,” said Rick Rubin, president and chief executive officer of OneHealthPort. “Office Ally’s electronic claims routing service is efficient and offers an important benefit to providers who currently submit paper claims. It’s not only easier and faster than filling out paper claims; it provides better tracking of claims submitted to all payers in one convenient location.”

Office Ally, which offers health care providers the ability to electronically submit claims to over 500 health plans, is fully HIPAA compliant, with security and data protection measures in place to insure the privacy of medical claims data. There is no charge to health care providers because participating health plans pay fees to receive the claims electronically.

Office Ally Chief Executive Officer Brian O’Neill, said, “Office Ally is very excited about this opportunity to be directly linked with OneHealthPort subscribers. Electronic claims not only have a lower reject rate but also are processed faster, which speeds up payments.” According to O’Neill, Office Ally accepts claims from all practice management software packages or the direct entry of claims through the Office Ally browser tool. OneHealthPort subscribers can use their secure password to submit electronic claims to Office Ally’s participating health plans.

OneHealthPort subscribers can register for Office Ally by going to www.onehealthport.com and clicking on the Office Ally link from the home page. Once registered, their OneHealthPort password can be used to access the site to enter claims information directly into the browser tool or upload a file from their claims-processing software. Before sending a claim, Office Ally checks for correct dates, CPT and ICD-9 codes, and standard HIPAA requirements. Office Ally provides reports on submitted claims and errors with tools for correcting and resubmitting claims to simplify the billing process.

About OneHealthPort
OneHealthPort was created by a coalition of health plans, physicians and hospitals that joined together to build a trusted community where business and clinical information could be shared securely and simply. Their goal-- improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all parties by applying collaborative information technology solutions. The consortium of founders includes The Everett Clinic, First Choice Health Network, Group Health Cooperative, Premera Blue Cross, Regence BlueShield, The Sisters of Providence and Swedish Hospital.

OneHealthPort offers healthcare professionals an easy and secure way to access the provider sites of major local health plans, hospitals and other valuable online service. Rather than placing time-consuming phone calls or logging into several different web sites, OneHealthPort users can gain access to information from all participating organizations using one common security solution. Subscribers register only once and are issued a single digital ID that provides single sign on across all participating sites. In addition, all parties within the trusted community enter into a common contractual framework that addresses HIPAA requirements and other information sharing issues. Finally, OneHealthPort serves as a single source of training and promotion to get online services adopted and drive usage.

About Office Ally
Office Ally is a medical claims clearing house that makes electronic processing easy and uncomplicated for providers by removing long-standing administrative and technical roadblocks. After a provider registers, an Office Ally Technician walks the provider through a simple set up and training process.

Established in 1999, the California-based company offers user-friendly tools to submit and track claims. In addition Office Ally offers eligibility status, on-line claim entry, tools to assist in correcting common claim submission errors and other transactions to assist the provider billing process. Office Ally has developed a unique service for providers to file, and payers to request, electronic attachments needed for selected claims. Lack of a standard for attachments has forced most of these ancillary documents to be manual copies or faxes to payers who must then deal with all the paper. Office Ally’s attachment solution makes communication between the participating payer and the provider more efficient for everyone. Office Ally is fully HIPAA compliant and converts provider’s claims to meet the HIPAA regulations.
