Multi-Factor Authentication for Aetna coming June 17
Starting June 17, Aetna has elected to add Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to OneHealthPort's Single Sign-On (SSO) service. To access Aetna's Provider Portal, you will be prompted for MFA once you login to the SSO using your OneHealthPort Subscriber ID and password. MFA provides another layer of security using an additional authentication method like a One-Time Passcode (OTP) sent via email or Google Authenticator.
There are steps you can take now to ensure seamless access to Aetna's Provider Portal on June 17. For example, verifying your SSO email address and downloading the Google Authenticator app in advance. Visit OneHealthPort's Multi-Factor Authentication page at onehealthport.com/multi-factor-authentication.
